This year, the UAB Barcelona Summer School will be taking place online. From 22 June to 10 July, a total of 17 courses will be offered online, the majority of them in English, and a social programme will help bring together local and international students. Furthermore, students can obtain up to 12ECTS in 3 weeks as the programme gives them the opportunity to do up to two courses, one for each term. Courses range from Nanotechnology to Urban Performing Arts, so no matter your field of study, check out their website: www.uab.cat/barcelona-summer-school to see if there is a course for you!

Partner University Spotlight: Ca’ Foscari University of Venice Italy has been in our hearts this spring, but we can’t help but to admire the beautiful city of Venice and its rich history (not to mention its ancient canal ways). Ca’ Foscari was founded in 1868 as a school of commerce and its original main office is still found in the grand Gothic palace on the Grand Canal - the very heart of Venice! Today a wide variety of courses are available in English, ranging from language and culture to science and technology. In the next couple of weeks, we’re hoping to feature several more cities, countries, and partner universities you can study abroad at through MIX. Stay tuned!

To all UH Mnoa students, we know this crisis has been particularly challenging for you, and want to remind everyone that federal assistance is now available to students who have short-term financial need due to disruptions of campus operations caused by the corona virus pandemic. Those who qualify may receive grants ranging from $500-$2,500. Apply today for the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security(CARES) Act grant by completing the Urgent Student Relief Fund at: hawaii.edu/its/urgent-student-relief-fund. Take care everyone
