Because of the proximity and predicted path of Hurricane Lane, we regretfully will be cancelling the Jeff Dayton concert tomorrow evening. We hope that Jeff will beg able to join us and perform during a future visit. Mahalo to everyone who showed up for a fabulous worshop last evening at University of Hawai'i Maui College. Be safe, everyone!
Like all of our colleagues, our Music at UH Maui College faculty have been busy preparing for the Fall 2020 semester, and adjusting to the new reality of higher education during the challenges we all face this year. We are still offering music classes - many have gone online but others are being taught face-to-face. Online offerings include our always-popular World Music and History of Hawaiian Music courses, Voice 1 and Voice 2. Face-to-face offerings include Guitar, Piano, Music Technology, and our Applied Hawaiian Music class. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions!
University of Hawai'i Maui College students on Moloka‘i will be part of the show available by streaming!

Maui folks in the music industry- check this out. The instructor is longtime Industry-insider Ron Moss, son of legendary hall-of-fame music producer Jerry Moss (A&M Records, with partner Herb Albert), is co-founder of Honua Publishing.
This is awesome. The Institute of Hawaiian Music, UH Maui College broughy Zanuck Kapala Lindsey, Kimo Keaulana, and John Kolivas over to Maui to present a workshop on the Hawaiian trio format. All three had not played together previously, but because of their stellar musicianship the workshop came out amazing. And as a result of their coming together here, they've now formed a working group called Pueo." Catch them if you can!
