Open Wide!! This Undulated moray eel wanted to show off it’s teeth and pharyngeal jaw. Pharyngeal jaws are a second set of jaws found in the animals throat. Similar to the Hollywood movie Alien, they open their mouths and a second, separate set of jaws will extend outward and grab onto prey and pull them down into their throats.

Manta rays crushing over the reef on our last Wildlife Charter

Meet LouLou, a very curious manta ray here in Kona. We always feel lucky whenever we see her on a dive! @mantaraydivesofhawaii

Frogfish are awesome! We love finding them on our dive charters!

We occasionally find pilot whales offshore during our wildlife expeditions. They are incredibly intelligent animals, and we are lucky to see them off our coast : @aliveunderwater

11-21-21 2 Tank Scuba Charter. We saw a Hawksbills Sea Turtle, Hawaiian Day Octopus, Indigo Dartfish, a Ciliated Mantis Shrimp , Wire Coral Goby, eels, Nudibranchs and loads of fish! Such a fun day with great people!
