I had envisioned this shot for several years now but the opportunity never quite happened until a couple weeks ago...to get a sunburst with the baby whale. I th...ought it would mostly be a silhouette but was happy to see a nice amount of light on the whale as well. In my experience, most whales aren’t comfortable enough to have divers go down beneath them but this whale was being very playful and we almost were mimicking each other’s dives, rolls and moves.
