We can not change the fact that our lives have been affected in one way or another by the Covid19. Being in the tourist industry in Kauai’i, now we are faced with a reality that there is no bookings and probably won’t be for a while, in result, everyone that is in it will have to find alternatives for financial stability. The most important thing is to stay calm, healthy, and in good spirits. Since the world seems to go on lock down for the next 14 days, I figure I’ll do 14... fun things in the mean time. At least fun things for me, it is all relative. Today we just happen to be a gloomy day, almost 100% rain and thunder all day. Kauai is on vacation! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for putting us on your travel plans, BUT right now IS NOT THE RIGHT TIME TO VISIT. We are a small island with limited resources and a close community, for that, this virus can be even that much more dangerous and devastating to the island. We have a curfew, parks are close, a mandatory quarantine is in place, and have limited supplies at the stores.
