Kayak Tour Guide - We are looking for fun and enthusiastic eco tour guides! Applicants should be avid waterman/women and have some comfort kayaking and in ocean conditions. We want to start training ASAP to be fully sufficient before summer. Our team of guides are lead by experienced instructor-trainers that will ensure you are trained specially for guiding in Kailua Bay. Full and part time positions available. Stand up paddling experience is a bonus.

A couple of reminders whether you live here or are visiting these amazing islands. 1. Use reef safe sunscreen. If you see oxybenzone or avobenzone or something else you can’t pronounce, it’s probably not reef friendly. Mineral bases sunscreens like zink are usually best. We sell lots of options at our shop! 2. Whether you are in Hawaii or anywhere around the world, try not to use single use plastics. Chances are they will not be recycled (even if you out them in the bin) and... much of it ends up on our oceans and eventually birds, fish and our stomachs. 3. Slow your roll. Take time to soak in the culture, environment and be a mindful explorer. Paddling, walking, swimming and biking are often more fulfilling than rushing around in a car trying to check things off your list. #lanikai #kailua @slay_the_gnar
