Aloha Cathedral ‘ohana and friends, We write to inform you that there has been a positive COVID-19 test result reported by a member of the Cathedral’s staff. As... we move to follow our Covid-19 Protocols, we would like to share the following details: The Cathedral office in the Memorial Building will be closed starting today, April 7, and will remain closed until next week Wednesday, April 14 (this date may be subject to change). No one will be allowed to enter the space during this time. Please feel free to email the Cathedral Staff if you have any needs or questions, as we will all be working from home. Additionally, we are working on details for this upcoming Sunday now. Please stay tuned for more information regarding in-person Sunday worship. We want to thank you for your understanding during this time of caution and heartfelt care that we feel for all of you. These measures are put into place to ensure that our first priority is to live the greatest commandment, and take care of our community, striving to keep everyone healthy and safe. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Cathedral Staff. We are grateful for your grace and understanding! Jesus answered, The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this,‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. [Mark 12:29-31] With our abiding aloha, Your Vicars

The annual K-12 Easter Chapel was held this morning. The service emanated from St. Alban's Chapel, where only three homerooms attended in person, along with sev...eral student speakers, Bishop Robert L. Fitzpatrick, Head of School Dr. Timothy R. Cottrell, our chaplains and the talented musicians of the Tam-Young Jazz Combo, who provided beautiful music. The rest of the student body took part via Zoom. #easterchapel #iolanioneteam See more

Dear Cathedral ‘ohana and friends, After prayerful consideration, protocol review, and consultation with the Bishop, we have determined that our safest course o...f action, out of an abundance of caution and our deep and abiding commitment to live the Greatest Commandment, is to suspend in-person worship for this Sunday, April 11. Please gather with us for the Liturgy of the Word with music, hymns, anthem, and sermon, Sunday, 10am, on our Cathedral Facebook page. We hope, plan, and pray to be back with you in-person on Sunday, April 18, for our 8am and 10am liturgies. As we shared with you this morning, due to the COVID positive case among the Cathedral staff, all Cathedral staff members are working from home until April 14th (date subject to change), and the Office is closed. Deep cleaning of shared spaces will be taking place over these days. We do thank you for your understanding during this time of caution and know our heartfelt care for all of you. We do not make these kinds of decisions frivolously or without deep reflection. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Cathedral Staff. We are grateful for your grace and understanding! As our Diocesan facemask proclaims and our living out of the Gospel mandates: Jesus answered, The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. [Mark 12:29-31] Please be well, stay well, and take good care. We remain, faithfully, Your Vicars & Cathedral Staff
