MEET THE TEAM Marissa recently graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She previously worked as a pharmacy technician and is excited to be part of a holistic health team. Marissa believes in the importance of nutrition and exercise to help improve long-term health and wellness. MEET OUR TEAM Maggie Baxley graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelors in Human Environmental Sciences focused in Nutrition. She then went to Utah State University to participate in their distance dietetic internship for 1 year (focused on studying all realms of nutrition clinical, foodservice, and wellness/ outpatient facilities). After that, she graduated from Utah State with a Master’s in Dietetic Administration where she was able to study abroad focusing on the Mediterranean diet. Maggie is passionate about encouraging and helping people with making more healthy eating choices

MEET THE TEAM Dan Tanigawa has a BA in Communications from the University of Hawaii and an MBA from the University of California San Diego. Dan started working in software companies in Southern California and also worked at a medical billing and software company on Oahu. MEET OUR TEAM Patricia Lee is a pharmacist and a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES). She received both her Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Science with a minor in Public Health degrees from Oregon State University. Before joining ‘Ekahi, Patricia worked at Times Pharmacy. She is passionate about education and helping her participants overcome barriers. The best part of her job is getting to know her participants and seeing them actively engage in their health. MEET THE TEAM Shauna Graner holds a Master’s degree of Public Administration and Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Hawaii. Her professional background entails 20 years of administrative and sales support experience. She lives each day in deep gratitude to work in a revolutionary establishment like 'Ekahi Health, in their wellness and prevention programs, because she gets to witness the participants’ momentous transformations, as well as the powerful positive shifts that emanate out to their loved ones and communities. MEET OUR TEAM Wei Lin received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2015. That same year she started her professional career as a community Pharmacist at Times Pharmacy. She joined the Ekahi Wellness team in 2019 and received her credential as a certified diabetes care and education specialist. As a pharmacist Wei’s biggest passion is helping patients understand their medications. She believes that having one on one consultation betw...een pharmacist and patient in clinical setting makes tremendous impact on medication management and overall quality of care, especially for chronic disease like diabetes.Wei speaks fluent English and Chinese.
