Waimanalo Boat Ramp Papio Tournament

Aloha Kakou, Riding the wave of another successful WBRPT, I’d like to invite ‘Ohana, Friends, and Supporters of the Waimnalo Boat Ramp Papio Tournament, to Hele Mai!! We support 100%, the efforts of the Waimnalo Limu Hui, to restore Pahonu, and to restore and reintroduce Native Limu to the Kai of Waimnalo Bay.... I personally invite any and all to join us in supporting the Waimnalo Limu Hui’s efforts on Saturday 10/26/19. Wear your WBRPT T-Shirts, past and present to represent the Waimnalo Boat Ramp Papio Tournament’s presence. Please, come by and contribute to an amazing community project and lift our Waimnalo Community in these awesome endeavors!! I would also, like to ask any and all of our generous sponsors, who’d like to connect, directly, with the people and the community that you support, to come and spend the day with us in fellowship, physical labor, and Aloha!! Aloha Kakou, I hope that this post finds all of you well!! From our ‘Ohana to yours, Be Safe and God Bless, is these Crazy times!! I got a call yesterday from one of our partners, John Wiley of Poseidon Fisheries Research. He reached out to me to see if he could share some of the specimens that he uses in his research, with our community, of course I said Yes, especially in this time of Covid 19. ... Tonight I was able to provide to some of our, Waimnalo ‘Ohana, some fresh, local fried fish for dinner!! Mahalo Nui, John, for your thoughtfulness, you and your Organization are Maika’i. I could tell by the smiling faces, that the ono I’a that you shared will be well appreciated!! This is what it’s all about!!

Aloha Kakou, As a fisherman, it’s has always been, being able to share your catch with family, friends, and neighbors, that has brought me the most satisfaction. Even more than the hunt and the catch. Mahalo Nui Loa, once again, to John Wiley and Poseidon Fisheries Resources for their sharing!! Families from our Waimnalo community are able to enjoy fresh, local fish for dinner tonight.... We are grateful for our partnership and for PFR’s generosity. Thank You PFR and enjoy ‘Ohana, especially in these difficult times. FISH, it’s what’s for dinner!!

Aloha Gang, Sharing some terrible news. Nanko’s has been a very generous and supportive sponsor of the WBRPT, from the very beginning. They have provided our windward communities with amazing customer service and have always been and integral part of our local fishing communities for generations. This kind of action, is just uncalled for.... Please, be on the lookout for some of the items listed below. Please, keep your ears and eyes open for any info. that may be floating around out there, in regards to this break in and the equipment that was taken.
