Support our local youth that continue to perpetuate our Paniolo traditions. Meet Ashante Kahikilaulani Wong, granddaughter to our very own Paniolo, Wendell Wong. She's 17 yrs old and continuing to serve the ranches of Maui like her grandfather and grandmother have done their whole lives. "I grew up in a rodeo family, I’ve played basketball since I was 10 and still am. I love spending time with my family and helping out on the ranch. I started training in December and Kanoa... Awai-Dickson has been my coach throughout these past six months. Along with the help of my family, my goal is to make it to nationals for rodeo next year. I plan to go to college in the mainland (not quite sure where yet) and study in the medical field."
