Bought some new workout shoes for my 6 teens in my Fa’amlosi program! Scored some nice name brand shoes from Ross! I paid for this out of my own pocket so any... financial assistance would help big time. Even $5 would get a pair of socks. Majority of these kids don’t have shoes so this is a huge step in the right direction. Thank you to those who have been donating clothes so far! Their first day of sports day will be Monday! Still in need of sponsors. Have a great weekend! See more

Week 2 of our Fa’amlosi Program for our 6 teens. Good news & bad news. Good news is our 3 young women have been killing it & are doing so great. Bad news, our ...young men haven’t been doing so great. It’s not things that they or we can control. I don’t want to give up on them because they really enjoyed it & showed so much potential but I have to be realistic. I’ve dealt with unsupportive parents in the past & I refuse to go through it again. I wasn’t feeling too good today so my mom took my place for our Friday mentor session/pizza night. She gave them a stern talk & let them know that there are a lot of people rooting for them to succeed. I’m grateful because my mom will give them tougher love than I would so it worked out perfectly. We have decided to give the kids one last week to improve before we replace them with teens who have been begging to join. It’s always a tough choice to let go of them but we have to make the hard decision to help the families that want it the most. If we end up cutting them from the gym we will still allow them to join our field trips but they will be required to do twice as much community service to do so. Thank you to everyone for the outpouring support. I wish I could say it’s a perfect program but we will always have our little bumps in the road. I just want to be transparent about the ups and downs. Thank you all so much! I love you all! (I do not own the rights to this song)

In late January we started our Fa’amlosi Program for teens at our partnered shelters. The shelters were in need of help for teen programs and reached out to us. We accepted 6 teens of their choosing. 3 young gentlemen & 3 young ladies, ages 14-17. We enrolled them at the best gym on island, @phase1hawaii where they attend 4 days a week to work on their physical STRENGTH. We host mentor sessions once a week to ensure they are always STRONGER mentally. ... And this past weekend was a 3 day educational field trip to create a STRONGER future. We did a college campus tour, learned ocean safety, kajukenbo, farming & cleaned 2 beaches along the way. We reached the end of our first month & have already seen drastic changes in our teens. Thank you to everyone who’s been supporting & sponsoring our growing teens. Message us if there’s ways you’d like to support. Whether it’s hosting a field trip or lesson, mentoring them, or even just monetary donations. So many ways to change their lives & break the cycle. Thank you all for your continued support!
