Wow! Can you believe the amount added the typical cost of a new single-family home due to recent price spikes in lumber?! I'm sure the impact is greater here in Hawai'i. As if market conditions weren't already driving up the price...

You must take a look at this cute, well-cared-for, off-grid studio cabin. Located in Tiki Gardens, just a short drive from pavement, this cozy cabin has every...thing you need. Aproximately 8,100 sqft (0.186 acres), fully fenced with a solar-powered entry gate, and a large gravel-covered driveway leading to an attached, covered carport. #SatisfactionSaturday Congratulations to Lee, Mike, and Therese on the purchase of their new home in Hilo. As long-time residents and first-time homebuyers, I am thankful to have had the opportunity to help you make the transition from TENANTS to OWNERS. #sold #hawaiirealestate #hawaiilife #hawaiirealestateagent #hawaiiliving #realestate #realestateagent #realestateinvesting #realtor #hawaiirealtor #review #clienttestimonial #clientappreciation #luckywelivehawaii #hawaii #hawaiiisland #bigisland #bigislandhawaii #hilo #hilohawaii #808state #808

Mahalo to Pam, Nichole, and the rest of the team at HomesandLand BigIsland! They are too kind, and are a really great and supportive group of people to work with. Thank you, again, to my fellow REALTORS for this honor.

Kehau Costa of Hawaii Island REALTORS, Julie Mitchell of Ku’ikahi Mediation Center in Hilo, and Eric Paul of West Hawaii Mediation Center in Waimea talk about the concern about people who may not be able to pay their rent, with at least 22% of Hawaii’s population now unemployed. Although right now there is a state moratorium on evictions, that will end at some point. Kehau, Julie, and Eric talk about a FREE mediation program that helps landlords and tenants come together to talk about possible solutions that will work for both parties.
