Happy Aloha Friday! In Hawaii, June 11 is King Kamehameha Day. It celebrates the accomplishments of Kamehameha the Great. He is credited with uniting the Hawaiian Islands in 1810. On Sunday, June 13, 2021 we will open the temple doors for our weekly Sunday Service. You may join us in-person or continue to join us online on our Puna Hongwanji Facebook and YouTube pages. Service will begin at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Satoshi Kaimipono Tomioka will share the Dharma Message The joy of meeting & the sorrow of separation.

On Sunday, June 6, 2021, it was nice to see the temple doors open and welcome everyone back. Those in attendance you could see them happy and smiling by their eyes.

Every year all the leaves from the Bodhi tree falls off and then sprouts new leaves. The yard is filled with all these fallen leaves.
