Ala Hale 16.12.2021

While any vacation to The Garden Island is sure to be enjoyable, our stay at Ala Hale made it even more memorable. After arriving after midnight on our first da...y, we were amazed as we awoke to a wonderfully manicured property adjacent to beautiful golf course with a breathtaking view of the mountains surrounding Hanalei Bay in the distance! We never got tired of seeing the newborn albatross and the interactions among the adults right out the back doors. Within the home, we found all the amenities we would hope to, with a few notable surprises: two Pack ‘n Plays, a myriad of beach toys/gear, an inviting pool/hot tub, resources on the coffee table (bird books, fish books to look up our snorkeling discoveries, travel guides, etc). We loved leaving the excitement of the beach and returning to the quiet refreshment the pool provided. On Kauai, rainy days are expected; but because of how welcoming Ala Hale was, I had no problem staying home, sitting on the lanai with a drink/snack and enjoying the view. The beds were comfortable, appliances modern, appearance clean. Even with when shared with another family, we never felt we were underfoot of one another. The house’s proximity to Hanalei Bay and other family-friendly beaches made it so convenient. Speaking of convenient, a large grocery store was just one mile away! The community, like the home, was very well maintained. It was reassuring knowing my family and I were staying in a quiet, safe area. I could go on and on about the house, but even beautiful rentals can be ruined by an unpleasant host. The hospitality of Cash completed the welcoming nature of the house. Knowing we would be arriving late at night, he went out of his way to prepare the house for us. On our first morning, he greeted us with a text message offering suggestions of activities/restaurants for the day. When questions came up, he would respond at a speed that would rival a butler! We look forward to returning to Kauai (the island), but are equally looking forward to returning to Ala Hale.

Our First Review from our Guests at Ala Hale: This home was absolutely unbelievable! We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Poipu last September and we would pick this home over the Hyatt any day! The home is located on a beautiful golf course with a great view of the ocean. It is a short drive to Hanalei, which is where we spent the majority of our time swimming and surfing. The yard is beautiful with tropical trees and shrubs that house so many birds! We felt like we were at a wil...d bird sanctuary. There were Nene’s at the golf course as well as baby albatross. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip. We watched the moms feeding their babies right in the back yard! We watched the sunset almost every night while we soaked in the hot tub, splashed in the pool and barbecued on the back deck. This home was as beautiful inside as it was outside. Huge windows made the home feel light, bright and airy. Everything felt new and fresh, clean and spacious. Cash was amazing to work with. He responded to our questions within minutes and was so accommodating. He had wonderful recommendations and the house came stocked with everything you could possibly need and MORE. From beach cruisers and body boards to umbrellas and pack n’ plays, Cash was always five steps ahead. We will definitely be returning to this house. Thank you Cash for making our stay so wonderful!
