Most of us in Hawaii grew up with lion dances at Chinese New Year whether watching them in the streets of China Town or as they blessed businesses for the new year. August 22,2021 Our first large scale event in over 18 months, one day before the announcement that weddings would get shut down again. It was fate that we were allowed to celebrate Kimi & Tyler on this special day. You see Kimi was my first intern on my first wedding EVER, long before I started Perfection. She was so amazing I wanted to stop her from returning to school on the East Coast so I could keep her talents. Of course I didn’t, and other then a connection via Faceboo...k we didn’t speak much over the next 7 years. Then I received an email with the exciting news that she was engaged and getting married back at home. I couldn’t have been happier or more honored to be considered for her special day. While I shared with her she should consider all her options, I was lucky she chose to work with me. Fast forward a year and we found ourselves facing constantly changing rules, mandates, and difficult decisions to make. The month leading up to her wedding would’ve have drove any bride absolutely crazy but not Kimi! She was calm and understood what was meant to be would happen.and it was. We were able to safely celebrate with 140 of her closest friends and family and execute an absolutely beautiful wedding filled with so much love. Kimi and Tyler, thank you for trusting us through this crazy process! Wishing you a lifetime of love, happiness, and lots of memories! P.S.
