I’ve taught my son some meditation techniques over the years. When presented with a problem he wants solved, he lights a candle and focuses on how he would like things to go. He gathers up what’s bothering him and speaks it to the flame. And when he’s done he brings the light of the flame into his mind, his heart and his being. He likes to do this before bed because it calms him and prepares him for a good nights sleep.
