Before Smartphones, before X-BOX and Playstation... We had to go to a place to play games. This place was sacred.... This place was amazing. This place was the arcade. There was no online multiplayer options. You made friends by waiting in line to play Street Fighter next. You spent every dime you made from allowance (if you even got one) or collected/earned doing various odd jobs. Everyone had their game. Their favorite. The one they could beat everyone at. Mine was Galaga. I played this game everyday while waiting for the bus in Atlanta circa 1991. The game brought so much joy to 11 year old me. I get to relive my joy everyday now with my Retro Joy Handheld Game. With Galaga and 400 other games... i get to go back to those times plus introduce my children to it as well.
