Kilohana Kai

Auwe! Covid-19 has wrecked havoc since March of this year with the closing of schools and almost all athletic program. However, Kilohana Kai was still able to provide scholarships and grants to most of our schools and organizations we have been giving in recent years. A summer 2020 fundraising request was sent out to our loyal supporter and we hope to add additional contacts to help Kilohana Kai continue on its mission to support our educational goals of Hawaii's young people. Every September, Kilohana Kai has participated in "FOODLAND GIVE ALOHA" fund raising promotion. You can make a donation to Kilohana Kai during the month of Septembr 1-30, 2020 at any Foodland or Sack-n-Save cashier check out. See flyer for details. Your help will be appreciated!

McKinley Christmas Craft Fair / Tennis Team Fundraiser.

Kilohana Kai Scholarship and Grant program is now beginning its 26th year of providing for college scholarship to high school seniors and support for school program in need of help. Our first year we provided one scholarship of $500 and one travel grant to McKinley High School. Over the years we have now provided scholarships and grants totaling over $100,000 and expanded our donations to many other schools and organizations. Over all these years, we have relied on our core supporters from past McKinley tennis team members and the many loyal friends who have made our program a success. We hope that Kilohana Kai will be able to continue its mission during this trying times (covid-19 pandemic) and be a small but positive beacon of hope among the many in need.
