Meet our Captain: Dan! Originaly from Burbank, CA, Captain Dan joined Maui Classic Charters in 2005. He is very knowledgeable and enjoys sharing the Aloha with ...all our guests on board! Dan moved with his family to Maui in 1971 and developed a love for the ocean. He was a commercial fisherman in Alaska from 1985 to 1994. When hes not working on the Four Winds II, you can find Dan spending time with his children Kyle and Brooke, surfing, & scuba diving. See more

This photo was taken by Bruce Bates (a really good old friend) of Kenny Webel at the summit of Haleakala the winter of 1977. I was with them but had to leave to go to work before the rangers opened the road to jeeps with chains. Not many shots of snow jumps on Haleakala!!!
