The Wednesday Farmers Market at the Waipuna Chapel, Kula and The Saturday Farmers Market at the Oski Rice Arena, above Makawao Town will remain in compliance wi...th the state laws and new county rules until they are lifted. We discuss often lifting our protocol as it is a lot of extra work for us but always come to the same point, that if we do we maybe putting others at risk that felt safe within our current standing protocol. How? Well, when we allow people to walk through we have to count on every individual to abide by the State laws and Maui county's new rules "on their own" and that becomes "the risk!" There is so much speculation of how this virus acts and how prevalent it is in our Comunity that there becomes a rainbow of what's safe and what's not... So we're sticking with the SAFE! We apologize for any in convince this may cause to customer and vendor alike. We care about all of our comunity and it's just not worth the risk to make it easier or faster. We have all invested in these stay at home orders and we are willing to honor that investment with continued support on the safe side.
