Since opening Kona Sports Center I have had the idea of some fun meet ups where we checked out some of the fun places to hike, bike, swim, run, paddle, or any of the great activities the island has to offer. We have been meeting and biking on alternating Fridays with some other bikers; and we are finally ready to diversify. This Friday (yes we know this is last minute) we are meeting to hike the Koloko-Honokohau National Historical Park trail. If anyone would like to join us ...you may meet at the park for a 5pm departure, or at Kona Sports Center anytime around 4:15. This is a fairly easy walk/hike and leashed, well behaved dogs and children are welcome to join. I like to walk this one in Chacos or OluKai's, but any slippah or water shoe should be okay.
