Ladies Bible Study Lite topic for March: God’s Love Poem to His People (Zephaniah 3:17). Did you know that God is a poet? God used the Old Testament prophet Zephaniah to deliver one of His most evocative, powerful and emotional love poems. It’s one verse that is the perfect summation of God’s character and His relationship with His children. Let’s unpack this one verse and be uplifted by the most perfect love ever created. Come to our in-person or Zoom conferences and... let’s bask in God’s love for us. In Person: Monday March 29 at 6:00 pm in a private home in Kona. Zoom: Tuesday March 30 at 10:30 am Bible Study Lite sessions are about 60-90 minutes. There is no homework or preparation necessary; and no cost. Zoom: Tuesday April 27 at 10:30 am I’m going to throw a fancy Latin term at you: Lectio Divina. In a nutshell, it is a Biblical and historical practice of scriptural reading, meditation and prayer intended to promote communion with God, to engage in a real conversation with God using scripture as the medium. If it sounds complicated or intimidating, it’s not! It’s a simple practice that can open a new and powerful way to both talk to, and hear from, our Father. All you need to do is bring your favorite verse from the Psalms: your go-to verse, the one you’ve memorized or feel comfortable with. And we will walk through it together to learn how to unpack its meaning, what God intends to say to you via His word.
