#Kauai is set to rejoin the Safe Travels program on April 5th. We are elated to welcome back our guests, homeowners, and ohana to their island home away from home. Having never closed, we have taken great care of the resort over the past few months. We won Best Pool in America, built a best-in-class health & safety program to keep guests & staff safe, we remodeled our lobby, & we celebrated holidays with our local ohana. Let the countdown begin. Kauai is full of waterfalls of all sizes and shapes. The highest waterfall of them all is Waipoo in Waimea Canyon which stands at 800 feet! One of Kauai’s most popular secrets is the 100-foot Uluwehi Falls, which are fondly nicknamed by the locals as the "Secret Falls." The Wailua Falls were used in the opening credits of the 80’s classic show, Fantasy Island. Some of our waterfalls are best seen from the air on a helicopter tour. Some you can get to via kayak and most on foot via a long hike. No matter how you choose to visit the many waterfalls of Kauai in Hawaii, you won't be disappointed. Today is the day. Kauai has officially rejoined the Safe Travels program- simplifying travel rules to Hawaii. We are proud to say that Koloa Landing Resort has developed a comprehensive program specifically geared towards the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. The program follows the guidelines set forth by the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control & Prevention, as well as the Marriott Global Cleanliness Council, which is comprised of experts in hospitalit...y, epidemiology, sanitation, and protective health and hygiene technology.
