KPD TRAFFIC AND PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT UPDATE @ 4:25 p.m.: Wailua River Bridge remains open but the river is still high. There is an approximate 4 foot clearance under the bridge and plenty of debris. Please drive carefully. Please be aware that Wailua River is rising rapidly. For homeowners in the area, please be mindful of the river and be prepared for potential evacuation.... To everyone, please be careful and if you don’t have to be on the roads, please stay in place.
