Beautiful Athena is ready for adoption!

Kitty Corner Hawaii 18.12.2021

Goddess alert! Meet Athena This precious girl has quite a story to tell, but one thing is for sure- she’s one tough mama! I first noticed Athena’s kittens playing right in front of the dumpsters at the Keaau transfer station. That was almost 4 months ago. She was watching them from the bushes but very cautious towards me. It took three weeks for me to catch all 4 kittens and when I came back for her turn, she was no where to be found. It wasn’t until two weeks ago that I wa...s able to trap her. Thank goodness her whole family is safe and all her babies have been adopted Athena is extremely cuddly and friendly. She adores lots of pets and snuggles, even belly rubs! Athena is likely around 5-7 years old. She does great with the litter box and keeps herself very clean. Athena is a carrier of the kitty herpes virus. This will cause off and on wet eyes and some irritation to her sinuses. It’s nothing serious, and usually will clear up once her immune system stabilizes. Because she can shed the virus, it’s best that she goes to a home without any other cats. Athena also has years of fire ant bites to her eyes. She can still see but car lights at night can be problematic so it’s ideal for her to be inside at night. Athena would love to be an indoor/outdoor cat and will likely be a great lap buddy. She’s quite the biscuit maker with her big paws. She would be happy in a home with older children and mellow dogs. She’s currently spayed, has her ear tipped and microchipped. She’s on Revolution for fleas and parasites. Has been dewormed and tested negative for FIV/AIDS. Please reach out if you are interested in meeting or adopting Athena

We have some new cuties in the house, Meet Angel Angel is a darling and very magical kitten. She’s already lost some of her 9 lives, but she’s definitely a fighter. I rescued her 8 weeks ago after she came out at night at our local cat colony site, sadly she could barely run and I quickly tossed a towel over her and scooped up her little bony frame. She went into the care of a fellow cat rescuer and quickly lost all mobility the following day. The vet said her muscles had a...trophied from starvation and that she was 6-7 months old. Angel is a very tiny cat. She took two weeks to be able to stand on her own and eat. Angel is now thriving and was spayed two weeks ago. She’s still learning to trust and relax with us human folk but what a fantastic transformation she’s made! Angels loves to hunt and chase toys. She also will sit on your lap for an hour, easily! Angel is great with her litter box and is an extremely quiet kitty. She’s tested negative for FIV/AIDS and is free of parasites and has been microchipped. Please reach out if you’re interested in filling out our adoption application for her Mahalo! See more

Coco and Mocha are ready for adoption! These two girls are best friends but are likely from different litters. We want them to stay together because they are so bonded to each other . Mocha has a wonderful dark face and a warm and sweet personality. Her buddy, Coco is a little more shy but is learning quickly that people are not all that scary. They are around 4-6 months old. Both girls are fixed and have their ears tipped. They are dewormed and treated for fleas. Both also have microchips. If you would love to learn more or meet these cute kitties, please send us a message
