North shore beaches generally aren't calm enough for swimming in winter months, but protected Anini Beach had some amazing snorkeling during one of our recent winter visits. It was like all the baby fishes had gone over there to hide from currents at nearby Ke'...e Beach. And what's better than a summer afternoon on Hanalei Bay...views for miles, gentle lapping surf, shade for sitting reading a book...ah can't wait to go back!
