Kauai Soul Sanctuary

Last night's moon rise. It was extra special as I don’t think I've ever seen the sky absolutely CLEAR on a full moon since we've lived here. The reflection on the clear water was priceless. This moon and all its aspects has stirred some old pain & woundings in me. Plus there's been some folks in my outer world showing up to poke the pain right on schedule. Fun times!... Last night I spent a few hours processing & feeling it all. It has been quite unpleasant. Taking response-ability for our triggers & reactions is a level of self-mastery we are all growing into. Anger Disappointment Frustration Deep SAD-ness Feeling attacked for being happy & sharing it Dismissed Less than Feeling outcasted by friends Being publicly shamed Very old familiar pain I've spent decades transmuting...all UP to evolve forward to the next level. I woke up this morning feeling a greater ability to forgive & let go. Last night I wanted to but was still too triggered & emotional to do it. The willingness was a welcome relief. Forgiveness is not for "them" its for you. It frees u from the pain. We are all processing so much these days. Be kind, gentle and patient. Be willing to look at, take response-ability for and FEEL what is yours. We don't consciously choose the shitstorms & lemons of our life ---> but we do get to choose how we navigate them. Our focus, our attitude, the stories we tell ourselves about them and how we show up (or aboid/numb out) when they show up....THAT IS our choice! Big hugs to those of you feeling the next layers of our individual & collective "stuff". Im still crying while simultaneously celebrating the gift of a NEW refrigerator! Whoohoo. This is such an interesting time to be alive. Happy Full moon rising.

These beauties fall from the Rudraska tree forrest on the grounds of the Hindu Monastery here on Kauai. The outer blue "fruit" disintegrates leaving the Rudraska beads behind. Thesecare then turned into mala necklaces & jewelry. A sacred gift from the earth.

It's thelast day of August.. Can you believe it? We harvested eggplants & bell peppers from the veggie garden that we will be donating to a local pantry along with several boxes of non-parishable food.. The moonrise over the horizon tonight was beyond spectacular. No clouds. Its the biggest moon rise I've ever seen. Unfortunately I left my phone in the car while we swam in pink & gold post sunset waters. These are from a bit later when we returned to the car. Loving our life in paradise!

Sharing today's walk on the bike path on the East side. It was actually pretty darn HOT! We have indian summer like "fall" weather here. Much like SF Bay it gets hot in the fall. I always wanted to live close enough to the ocean to have seaside walks be a quick & easy do. I Dreambuilt into that and now it is a part of my daily reality. If u dont let yourself dream it...it can't become a reality. And if u dream it but dont take ACTIONS that could lead to making your dreams a... real-i-ty they have no way of landing in your life.
