Aloha, I am attempting to get the page recreated so I may have to delete it temporarily then recreate it from scratch. This has been quite frustrating and I can't get any help at all from Facebook. I am planning on opening the shop this coming Monday, November 2 if all goes well. Thanks for being patient and I hope to see you all soon!

The Kauai Bound store located at the Anchor Cove shopping center in Lihue on the beautiful island of Kauai.

I am really looking forward to the day when I, as well as all the other places here on island, can welcome you back. Currently I am hoping to reopen September 1st, but we will have to see how this pandemic plays out. Quite a journey we have been on the past six months. At least some of the golf courses opened up and I have had the chance to play a few times. No, I am still not very good but I sure enjoy going out and trying.

Well, the news is now stating that we are looking at October 1st before we will be receiving visitors. I am still trying to work with Facebook to get the original page restored but still no luck, or response. This is quite an ordeal and I am thinking of everyone and their safety during this pandemic. One of these days we will be back to normal and I really look forward to welcoming you back and visiting with you. ... The island will be waiting. I am sharing a video that I took a few days ago, yes it is that beautiful.

Won’t be long now! I am planning on opening on April 5th! I will be spending time down at the shop cleaning all the gear and getting it ready for everyone. Guess I won’t be going to the beach or golf courses quite as much after the 5th. I took this shot down at Shipwrecks, beautiful day!

Sorry but I still have not been able to respond to anyone yet, something is still very wrong with the Facebook page. I am still working on it but don’t get any response from them. Meanwhile while I am out and about I do still get some pictures. I had the opportunity to get out and play a round of golf at Hokuala last week, really nice day. Still having a lot of difficulty trying to post to the page.

Monday is the day! After being closed for over a year, except the month of November, I will be re-re-opening! I have been going to the shop getting everything ready. Strange but I feel a little nervous, must be stage fright.

It feels great to have the shop open again. Still finding more to clean but am ready now. Looking forward to seeing visitors to Kaua’i again!

Aloha, we were very fortunate as hurricane Douglas took a turn and headed north and went past us overnight. Here in Lihue we just had some rain and a bit of wind but not even as strong as a typical storm. Yes, we were blessed and are very thankful.

Well now, I seem to be able to post from my phone again. Will find out later this week if I can from the computer at the shop. I plan on being fully open on April 5th! I can’t wait! My wife has been teasing me since I have made friends with the geckos out on our lanai. This one we call DG (da gecko) and he, or she, is the only one that comes up on the table to explore, the others tend to stay a bit further away. I think he was trying to say or sing something the other day.
