Something to think about: We have learned...are learning still...that "do not let the sun go down on your anger" does not mean that every conflict or disagreem...ent has to have 100% resolution before we can sleep. When we are exhausted and emotional, we can easily make the conflict worse. SOME of us (and that would be ME ) need a little space and time and SILENCE to sort through our feelings, to even be able to pinpoint what is wrong. OTHERS of us (and that would be the other person who lives here ) communicate easily, and prefer to process/think out loud. God made us all different, which is great - but we have to work hard to understand each other. "Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger," - allows us to call a time out, ask God for His help, know that we still love one another and won't allow bitterness to grow roots in our heart (**and THAT is vital in not letting the sun go down on our anger,) and let the irrational emotions cool off. Then, soon, we can sort things out more reasonably and calmly. Just my two cents. See more
