Oh my is the Crystal Clarity edition of KAKAO working her magic on me!! Ahhhhh deep sigh. Relief. Freedom. Me. CLARITY. With this cup of KAKAO, I continue to download clarity in my cells. The depth within the feminine is not something that can be explained with new age language. To truly embody reverence for the feminine principle we must embark upon years, lifetimes of training. This path requires Initiation and embodied mentors, shamans and teachers to call out the shadows and blind spots that have been running the show. Some rely on femininity as a soft cushion....mommy and daddy issues at the forefront. While She is the ultimate embrace, it comes at a cost - your absolute sacrifice of the lower bodies. You must give up what you think you know and look to Her Majesty as the wisdom keeper she is. Enter into her kingdom and be ready to be tested, not everyone makes it through but those that do find freedom and reconciliation. To drink the nectar of the goddess requires a pure vessel, open heart, and complete willingness to be crucified for the Higher Path. All is forgiven when we come into the understanding of our hearts . Deep bow to the medicine of cacao and the wisdom of @genekeys for being such a huge support to us in navigating shadow work and trauma work within our union. This work is so important to us. It’s what makes the bright moments brighter. I recently heard Richard Rudd mention The Return Of The Sacred Couple and it gave me chills. There is so much support for the Sacred Couple today, beyond traditional therapy -... Thank god. I believe that when we heal within union we can heal the world. It’s in my partner’s eyes that I can see myself clearly - I can sense what I am still holding onto from the past, where I have room to grow, & where I have blocks to unconditionally loving myself. It’s also a place I get to remember my power, my purity, my worthiness. When I surrender to the higher frequencies of love with M, I understand all of humanity more. Our union is very multi layered so I tend to not share tons about it these days - it feels so sacred and at times private to me. But I want to be more generous in my sharing - to express what we are learning and discovering along the way. Landing in Montana and signing long term agreements to be here has given me an opportunity to feel things that I didn’t even know I was unconsciously running from since I was 18 - by moving to new places all the time. Mind you it was a grand adventure that I wouldn’t change for anything. But now I am curious - how can staying in one place be a grand, epic adventure?? It all comes down to the notion of Family what that means to me, what I desire, what I can heal around that word, and creating new ways to channel my longing for a sense of family in healthy, contributing ways. It’s a creative experience and I am actually loving it. I’m so excited about this new phase of ‘us’ @michaeljmcpherson and I am wholeheartedly declaring that I am a YES to as much goodness and richness as possible from now and forevermore. When plant medicines came into my life, I felt the presence of grace for the first time ever. Our dear friend @tammyczapp started creating ALTAR MOONS with watercolor years ago. But when she began working with ceremonial cacao, her creativity blossomed and heart expanded in her work. We have had the honor and privilege to become close friends with Tammy and we can attest - she is one of a kind. The intention, depth and care she brings to her work and the way she lives is palpable. She is the embodiment of devotion. A couple of weeks ago her cup of KAKAO spilled onto t...he paper as she was painting. She sent me a voice memo of glee and awe, knowing that this was the Spirit of Cacao conveying a special message to her. And of course, she began painting with the cacao itself. ‘Raw Cacao Powder’ is a derivative of the cacao bean, making it an easy addition to smoothies and healthy desserts. Our KAKAO, however, is much different. KAKAO uses the *whole* Cacao beans, meaning all cocoa butter is still present. A few other other distinct differences: 1. We source Chuncho Cacao beans from Peru. This is a native strain of Cacao that ensures Mother Earth’s true intention and power is present in your drinking chocolate. Most companies do not elaborate on wh...ich strain they source, often times because they don’t know or it is a hybrid. We avoid all man-made, hybrid or genetically modified strains and our mission as a non-profit is to help save the native strains that are currently endangered due to cross-pollination and commercialization. 2. We do not use any commercial processing equipment when creating KAKAO. A traditional stone grinder from Central America is used to create our drinking chocolate from the whole Cacao beans. This is very important as we want the vibration of the Cacao to stay extremely high and in alignment with Mother Earth. 3. We bless our KAKAO very intentionally with frequencies of love, compassion, abundance and unity consciousness. What to look for when purchasing ceremonial-grade cacao as a plant medicine for healing purposes: 1. Dig into the supply chain. Where is the cacao from? Where are the farms? What strain of cacao is it? Does the owner of the company actually have personal connections to the land, the farmers and the supply itself? * Please note: MANY Co-Ops and collectives are corrupt. So is ‘fair trade.’ Your ceremonial grade cacao should be considered DIRECT TRADE. That’s honestly the only w...ay you can guarantee integrity in the supply chain. 2. How is the cacao processed? Is the whole bean used? Where do the cacao beans go once cultivated and what kind of equipment + production process is involved? 3. Where do the margins go? Are there middlemen involved in the distribution and sales of the cacao? Are there brokers and sales people (also known as affiliates!) that promote the product with a personal financial kick back? If yes, it’s probably not the best source of MEDICINE. Would you buy Ayahuasca from someone who was making some sort of royalty or affiliate commission off of it? No way!! 4. How are the farmers and producers taken care of? Do they set their own prices? Do they own their own farms? What are their practices? Are they supported in their work? When dealing with plant medicine, it’s important we remember this isn’t something we can just slap our name/brand/label on. Please treat with care, reverence and extra intentionality.
