Teens don't forget that today you guys need to be at church by 3:30 to help finish setting up and to learn your assigned jobs. Everyone else can come at 5pm and get ready for a night of fun and great food.

Knot tying today

We will be doing our last fundraiser for NYC this month and it will be a luau style dinner. So don't forget to mark your calendars, its going to be great food a...nd a great time. THE PURPOSE OF NYC 2015 GATHER USA/CANADA NYI STUDENTS AND LEADERS for worship, discipleship, service, celebration, and leadership development. IMPACT THE HOST CITY AND SERVE THE PEOPLE OF LOUISVILLE through a variety of projects and presence. CALL STUDENTS TO A DYNAMIC LIFE IN CHRIST and provide experiences that compel them to make a difference in their church, community, district, and world. Through an experience overflowing with dynamic speakers, powerful worship services, high-energy concerts from leading artists in Christian music, service projects that impact the host city in significant ways, and so much more, NYC 2015 has the power to transform hearts and lives in amazing ways.

Esti gave us a great plant and food class today based on local sources. Not to mention she made an amazing soup using the plants show for us to eat. We also finished our day with knot tying races.

The prizes won today for first second and third

Its crazy to think that this was the same moped we began with! Seeing the beginning one would make most people not even believe it could ever be brought back to life. I think we may look at people sometimes this way and see someone that looks ruff and hasent run in a long time and so we think to ourselves there is no way tranformation can happen. Christ though never saw anyone as a lost cause beyond transformation. Scripture tells in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" When we give our lives completly to Christ through the way of true repentace. The turning away of ones old ways and seeking the ways of the Father. It is never to late to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Great day diving into God's word and then had MRE practice today in the Not On Bread Alone program. As well as some team races for knot tying.
