Meet Dr. Matthew Abraham! Dr. Abraham began his undergraduate training at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, DDS. Among his honors, Dr. Abraham was nominated to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society in 2002. He continued his training at University of Louisville in the prestigious UOL Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program where he earned his Medical Degree, MD followed by the comp...letion of a one-year internship in General Surgery. In 2008, he received his specialty certificate from UOL Oral and Maxillofacial program. Shortly after completing 4 years of OMS residency and 2 years of medical school, Dr. Abraham received an offer for an exciting opportunity to practice in beautiful Hawai'i new. He moved to Honolulu in 2008, where he fell in love with the island life and met a local girl who captured his heart. In 2019, Dr. Abraham and his wife established Island Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, located in the heart of beautiful Kapolei, Hawai'i. Dr. Abraham has been practicing in Hawai'i for 12 years. He is both a Hawai'i-licensed physician and dentist who is licensed to perform I.V. sedation and general anesthesia in his state-of-the-art private practice. His approach to dentistry and medicine is to integrate science, esthetics, function, and treatment for the whole patient. His treatment plans are always comprehensive with consideration for the best and most beneficial options to the well-fare of his patients. He is committed to offering the most conservative procedures that will overall improve his patients' quality of life. Dr. Abraham is known for his superior care with an emphasis on exclusivity and comfort that has set the standard in his field. Today, he and his wife raise three children together and reside in the beautiful town of Mililani. He is an active outdoor enthusiast, enjoys golf, hiking, water sports, and snowboarding. He appreciates live music, local food, and enjoys spending time with his ohana.
