Holidays & Ohana . December is here! Between birthdays, anniversaries, and the holidays this month (Thanksgiving thru New Years really) is very eventful for our Ohana. . Thank you for understanding on why I may not be so easily available or even around much. ... . After over 15years of working in the hotel/tourist industry I usually worked during the holidays. Thats when business is usually booming for hotel/tourists industry in Maui. I missed a lot of ohana time and had to reschedule events. I did my best and ran away for family trips but it was always a struggle . Fast forward to today. I work for myself and built a few businesses that allow me to take my time off with my ohana and still get paid. It wasn't easy. Nothing worth it is, am I right? . Now I help others to create healthier lifestyles and habits of self care. It has all been a process. Each year I get better. How can I help you with what I've learned through out the years? . I used to be the person eating takeout & drive thru daily, smoking after working out, and binge drinking on the weekends. If you asked me how I was, I would usually respond with tired I couldn't imagine a life where I wasn’t exhausted all the time! . Fast forward to today and I have MORE energy than I know what to do with .... I’m waking up early, knocking out workouts, driving my son around, making dinner - oh, and don’t forget Christmas shopping! (with my peppermint mocha superfoods in hand of course)! . Back then, I would’ve had 3 cups of coffee in before noon if I had a busy day. . I’ve never felt better before IN MY LIFE! There’s no way I’m ever going back to the exhausted and unhealthy lifestyle I used to live. . I can spend more time with my family and friends and actually be engaged. I’m nicer to be around and willing to go out and do fun things! Put me on Santa’s nice list! . When I decided to change my health, I thought I was doing it for me.
