Aloha homeschoolers, please continue to reach out by PM if you have questions. I sense most of you have found your way by now. I encourage you to lead with your children's curiosity and creativity. Get out in nature, play and focus on passions. Have your children teach you what they sense, see and experience. They are our teachers in so many ways. I'll be attaching a few links for more content driven info. This is a perfect opportunity to shift and rethink what schools could be! Aloha
What schools could be?... IS NOW! Thank you Josh Reppun for sharing and BEing the change we wish to see in the world NOW!
Aloha community, I'm sensing families have found their connections, harmony, and finding balance with our new normal. Given this I am sensing less of a need to be that connector. If you are desiring resources, please private message me or leave a post. I trust all is well as we move into 2021. My biggest sense is advocating for more family time, more time/ playing in nature, and allow all to unfold with perfect timing. Remember, we all have our best teacher within us. Trust your children are fining the teacher within with the guidance and support of the teacher in nature and all they are calling forth. With Loads of love, Christina
THANKS*GIVING OPPORTUNITY: Create a Gratitude/Thankful Tree Paint a tree on glass; a glass window or glass door. Cut out leaves from construction paper, apply with tape on the back to the glass. Each night in November at dinner, every member of the family writes one thing they are thankful/grateful for and places it on the tree. At thanksgiving you read them all out loud. Keep the leaves in a timebox and revisit when the kiddos are older. (*acrylic/water based paint comes off glass easily with a little soap, water and a razor blade) Would love to see your trees!
This is a gifted moment, take the leap, adjust yOUR perspective. As a community, the more we can collectively see the "silver lining" in all this the easier it can be for us all to flourish in this moment. Grab the bubbles, chalk, a hand and get into nature as much as possible. Nature is our greatest teacher right now.
