Just two sweet little piggies who have been rescued from slaughter , waiting for their breakfast

Great news! Meet Edgar. This guy was fairly easy to rescue today...and I got him into a foster home where he will be well cared for until we can find a forever ...home for him. Thank you so much to the folks who helped save his life by corralling him into a safe place when he ran up to them... and calling us. Yogi Maui Jenn Edgar was shy and pretty wiggly when we picked him up, but we managed to get him into a crate and I am so grateful. Thank you so much to Shawn for being a wonderful foster home for this little guy to go to! And a big mahalo to Dennis Burns of Valley Isle Animal Rescue for giving these folks my number. Another life saved.... we make a great team, Dennis! Along with all of our helpers.... it takes a village to save Pig! See more

The two foster homes the piggies are at are already homes to pigs! Little Edgar is staying with Shawn, who has been caring for a 3-year-old potbelly named Spam ...since he was a baby. Wilbur and Puppy are staying with Jillian, who has been providing a loving home for two 7-month-old farm hogs since they were 1 day old, Cupid and Valentine. See more

Our lives as humans are no more important than the lives of animals. Every life is equally precious. If you don't believe that, then guaranteed, you've been conditioned by something or someone.
