Each month at the Hawaii Gateway Energy Center, we host the Tech Mondays Pau Hana. This event which is normally on the 4th Monday of each month features a tech related speaker followed by a networking gathering of the tech community in West Hawaii. This month, the speaker was Mark Sirota of the Thirty Meter Telescope.

NELHA Based Kampachi Farms CEO and Founder is one of the highlights of the Seasteading Conference which advocates for off-shore floating cities where large scale sustainable open ocean mariculture can exist together with OTEC.

Congratulations to Makai Ocean Engineering who has an office at NELHA doing OTEC heat exchange testing and is the world's leader in large seawater pipeline deployment.

The largest company based in NELHA is Cyanotech which grows one of the best crops for superfoods.
