Hi everyone! The trade winds are back! :) The Open House for the Sustainable Sciences Teen Internship is in 2 days! We are very excited for the new semester! Here is the schedule @Open House this Wednesday, September 16th!... 2:30-3:00 p.m. Introduction in a conference room 3:00-4:00 p.m. CSA basket & tree planting activity @the farm 4:00-5:00 p.m. Outdoor cooking (hummus, energy bar, and salad) 5:00-6:00 p.m. Science talk (on cancer & human nutrition) while eating dinner 6:00-7:00 p.m. Q & A: while decorating the science curriculum folder & getting to know each other 7:00-7:15 p.m. Clean up 7:15 p.m. All pau! (parents pick-up teens) Although family member(s) are not required to stay for the entire duration @Open House, it is encouraged that teens stay there from 2:30 until 7:15 p.m. We planned our open house to be very similar to our regular sessions (starting next Wednesday, 9/23, 2:30-7:15 p.m.) so that teens are able to experience what the regular session is like! Please wear closed toe shoes (sneaker, boots) & bring a water bottle. Iced tea & dinner will be provided ;) See you all at the Open House!!
