Everybody is going to want one of these! It has just been introduced in Japan by Sharp and not yet available in the U.S. At $1,850, the price is not popular, but once the price comes down, this will likely be in most homes. The video has English translation.

A lot of people this past week called to say their computer upgraded itself from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Microsoft is very anxious to get us all up to Win 10, even though Win 7 is still a great operating system. If you want to avoid the involuntary upgrade to 10, there are a couple of free utilities out there that will put a stop to Microsoft's pushiness. The one I prefer is from Steve Gibson, a guru of the computer world. It's called Never 10. Just google it. But, just as a reminder, Microsoft is offering the upgrade to 10 until the end of July. After that, they'll be charging. I would recommend you upgrade before then.

If you're replacing your existing, or planning on getting a new router, you may want to consider a relatively new, alternative technology. I can't yet vouch for it, but it looks promising, perhaps allowing better coverage and being more cost effective, especially in a large venue, over the traditional router. https://www.plumewifi.com/

The deadline to upgrade to Windows 10 for free is this coming Friday. After that, it's $120.

Sorry, parents of preteen and teen aged children playing computer games, but there's yet another thing to worry about: unscrupulous "gamer gurus" scamming your children.
