Last year, 30 nonprofit organizations joined the Rise to Work program and brought new hires onto their teams. By giving unemployed residents an opportunity to j...oin their organization, they also expanded their capacity to serve our local community. Mahalo to the teams at Hale Opio, Rice Street Business Association, Na Kahu o Hoai and Kumano I Ke Ala for participating in the program and for sharing your story with us in this video. The Rise to Work program will begin accepting applications from local employers again on Monday, March 8th. We encourage Kaua’i nonprofit organizations and local businesses to review the program details at www.KauaiForward.com/RisetoWork and consider applying. Unemployed residents interested in finding a position with the Rise to Work program will be able to view available job opportunities on the Kauai Forward website: www.KauaiForward.com/RisetoWork If you know someone who can benefit from this program, please spread the word! We look forward to the impact it will make in our community in 2021.
