Posted @withregram @mauiworkoutforwishes 2021 Workout For Wishes In teams of 2 with one person working at a time, partners will be alternating movements to complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 20 minutes of: 13 burpees over barbell 11 squat cleans (95/65) 18 cal row 21 strict sit-ups 13 shoulder to overhead (95/65) Every repetition number has been thoughtfully chosen to represent Make A Wish Hawai’i and our Maui community. The workout will be 20 minutes long, which is the average in air flight time from Maui<>Oahua flight many of our wish kids and their families must take frequently as treatments and doctors appointments occur mostly on Oahu. The number 13 is used twice in this workout. Make A Wish Hawai’i is the 13th chapter to be established in the US. Additionally, Maui county has 13 current wish kids, either waiting for their wish to be granted or are in the process of determining their wish. 11 represents the total number of active wish granters on Maui. 18 is the number of wishes granted in Maui county since February 2019 (around the time the pandemic started). Out of that total, 16 wishes have been granted on Maui, 1 on Lana’i, and 1 on Moloka’i. And 21 represents our current year. It’s your turn, crossfitters! Grab a partner and let’s get after it!
