The Guardians capped off another great week by recognizing the success of a few Soldiers! PFC Smith, PFC Knavel, and PFC Allen were promoted to the rank of Specialist. These promotions were much deserved and each Soldier has been an integral part to the success of the Detachment. SGT Ramos was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for winning the 728th Military Police Battalion, 1st Quarter, FY21 Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter competition. ... SPC Zarbo was recognized by the Detachment Commander with a Detachment Coin of Excellence for exceptional maintenance of the Special Reaction Teams Arms Room and exceptional contributions made to the team. Have you heard about the garrison's new vehicle registration program? Beginning May 1, all vehicles entering any U.S. Army Hawaii installation must be registere...d with the Directorate of Emergency Services. Most Soldiers will register their vehicle(s) and their family members' vehicle(s) with their unit S-1. All civilian and contract employees, and anyone else living, working or having business on the installation will need to register their car at the Visitor Control Center at Leilehua Golf Course, the Fort Shafter Military Police station or at a registration drive (details to be published at a later date). Check out the pictured infosheet, or visit https://home.army.mil//des-launches-vehicle-registration-p for more details.
