Hi Everyone- At 7am on Dec. 26th, our restaurants, 1938 Indochine and Qing Mu, were robbed. A man broke in through our door which faces Ala Moana Blvd. and stole a lot of the restaurants equipment. In the first few photos, you’ll see that he has very short dark hair, is wearing a black & white t-shirt with a large white palm tree graphic on the back, colorful shorts, and carrying a pink/red/stripe backpack. Before he breaks in, he changes into khaki colored shorts and wears a... mask. One inside he ransacked the restaurants starting with Qing Mu, where he ripped electronic equipment out of our counters including tablets and stereo equipment. He placed all the items into one of two grey trash bins. Other items that were stolen included alcohol, and more. He drags the bins out of the Ala Moana Blvd. side door, and behind the iron gate near The Loft apartments (we are also checking their security footage). To the person who stole from us: we have clear footage of you on all 20 of our security cameras. A police report has been filed as well as pawn shops have been notified of the stolen items. To all of our friends, if you recognize this man, please contact us. Please feel free to share this info on with others. We do have a reward for information leading up to this person’s arrest.
