PONOinfusions Teas 21.12.2021

Did someone say farm tour?! Since our sister company @mauiteafarm expanded to our new visitor location earlier this year, our team has been hard at work caring for the crops and the beautiful 'ina that we are so blessed to be farming on. After several months of landscaping and gearing up, we’re starting to welcome small visitor groups to meet our real life tea plants, enjoy the beauty of Haleakal, sip some Maui grown tea & mmaki and check out our @ponoinfusions retail l...ine of organic teas. We encourage visitors to also book a tour with our amazing next door neighbor @skylinehawaii , whose incredible zip line experience emphasizes their work in native forest restoration and conservation on the slopes of Haleakal Visit the Maui Tea Farm website today to browse our tour schedule and book online! Still much to be done up at the farm as we prepare to open our on-site Maui Tea Farm Store where our teas and tea-related goodies are available. Please stay tuned, keep in touch, and we look forward to share our teas from farm to cup with you soon

Did somebody say Mmaki? Springtime for @mauiteafarm tends to be super focused on Camellia sinensis (tea) harvesting for black tea making. However, Mmaki (Pipturus albidus) is also flourishing and growing rapidly this time of year too! Mamaki is Hawaii’s own native herbal tea plant Different regions and islands have their own varieties. It’s one of several native plants (including ‘awa, ko'oko'olau, and noni) used in traditional Hawaiian herbal medicine, la’au lapa'...au. https://www.ponoinfusions.com/collections/all
