Haven’t had a chance to take photos of the many improvements made at Ohi’a Kai Cottage for the past several months. I was so excited when our awesome new guests arrived yesterday and said wow, beautiful new floors! We saw your posts on Facebook about replacing cottage floors at Ohi’a Kai!

A few recent upgrades to Office E and a new tenant is now happily renting it

If you have stayed in Ohia Kai Cottage over the past several years, you may have noticed the damaged floor in the bedroom. We managed to cover up the ugly part with a big rug for a while, but at long last we seized the opportunity between guests to replace the floor. I didn’t have time to take photos of the finished room (new guest arrived while the bed was still getting made!), but these before and after shots of the floor will give you an idea of how big the improvement is.

Travel to Kaua’iwith approved negative COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to arrival just opened up on Monday....and we welcomed our first vacation rental guest to Ohia Kai Cottage that day! Here is a handy chart to navigate current testing requirements for travel to Hawaii.
