Last I put out an IG TV post regarding no amateur surf contest and that permits were being held up in the post there was a video from a father who had taken his kids to California for competition and showing the amount of people that are amateur serve contest which is nowhere near the amount of people that come to a professional event the post got a lot of traction went viral @andriatupola contacted me and she started making some moves then @chelseadavishnn from @hawaiinewsno...w asked for this interview the was broadcast on the evening news. Since this aired other political figures ( @brianschatz @andriatupola @ltgovjoshgreen ) have stepped up and addressed the @govhawaii. State of Hawaii is holding up permits for Hawaii amateur surf contest but they will have a farmers market no problem. US SURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS are June 21 but Hawaii has no surfer qualified due to the state dragging their on permits while other sports are on. @mayorvictorino is classic I have always loved he local approach to he public speaking. He gets it @govhawaii soccer, volleyball, football, bars, airplane full of tourists but no surf competition for amateurs and the youth. Surfing is in the great outdoors not in a plane or bar. Also these are local competitors not pros from around the world so no huge crowd. Ige you are holding back the youth of Hawaii and potentially the next US Champion and future world champion. Our Hawaii surf talent always makes the podium in almost all divisions. ALL OTHER SPORTS GOOD BUT NOT THE INDIGENOUS SPORT OF THIS AINA.
