Happy 246th birthday to the U.S. Army!
"Just as those who served in the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard during World War II resurrected and kept the Pacific Fleet sailing, today's workforce contributes to that legacy in a new era - one of a renewed power competition where our U.S. Navy and nation must continue to lead the way."
Happy Flag Day - June 14th!
Looking to visit family or friends this summer? As more and more Hawaii residents are fully vaccinated the Safe Travels rules are opening up and traveling just ...got a little bit easier! Starting today, June 15, 2021, the State of Hawaii Safe Travels rules have changed. Residents who are fully vaccianted by a provider in the state of Hawaii may travel trans-pacific without quarantining or providing a COVID test result if they upload their CDC vaccination card to the Safe Travel application before their return home. Additionally, the inter-island travel quarantine rules have been lifted for visitors and residents. Learn more at oneoahu.org/travel. There are links to each step of the State of Hawaii Safe Travels program for more information. Keep up the good work, Hawaii!

Don’t forget! Two new travel rules are now in effect. Starting today there are NO restrictions for inter-island travel (test or quarantine), whether you’ve been... vaccinated or not. The second rule allows those who’ve been vaccinated in Hawaii to use their vaccine card to bypass testing when traveling back from the mainland. We’ll begin accepting vaccination cards from other states when we hit a 60% vaccination rate, which I hope will happen in late June or sometime in July. We’re currently at a 55% vaccination rate.
The team did tremendous work with our privatized housing operators to arrive at full implementation of the Tenant Bill of Rights across the DoN’s installations.... These installations are not only a workplace, but a home to many of our Sailors, Marines, DoN civilian employees & their families. We owe it to our personnel to ensure access to safe, quality, & well-maintained homes. Read more here: https://www.navy.mil//full-tenant-bill-of-rights-implemen/
