Malama Pono Equine Assisted Activities and Learning 23.12.2021

We are Starting our Final 6 week session for this Semester’s successful Pilot Program with an almost full schedule! We’ll be taking some time off over the summer due to Lahaina heat and staff/ participant travel schedules, and look forward to a busy schedule in September. Over the summer the horses will remain in training and some body work. We’ll also be working on new curricula for regular and home-school programs and developing partnerships with the Medical Community (HI... Licensed PT/OT/SLP and Mental Health provides) in order to build our Hippotherapy programs. Hopefully by the end of summer we’ll have a simple informational WebSite as well as brochures! If you are (or know) a by PT, SLP or Mental Health Providers licensed in Hawaii who would have a couple of hours available weekly and would like to partner with us to provide Hippotherapy or Equine- Facilitated Psychotherapy please Contact me at [email protected] for Fall 2021 programs See more

May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worms & spiderlings. Children who sense ... the rose needs the thorn & run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards sun... And when they're grown & someone has to speak for those who have no voice may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the ones. ~ Nicolette Sowder wilderchild.com Art by Lucy Campbell lupiart.com
