The stay at home order issued by Gov. Ige permits traveling in order to comply with child custody and visitation orders issued by the Hawaii Family courts. That being said, use your common sense and parent with your children’s best interests in mind. For instance, if you or the other parent has been exposed to someone who has tested positive, it makes sense that the exposed parent would forego his or her visit or custodial time until such time as he or she is cleared of risk (14 days) and it also makes sense to give that parent make up time equivalent to the time he or she missed with the children.
