We have the best employees at Kona Coast Dental Care! Especially Jasmine who made these masks to help protect our essential staff members who are working to take care of our community! Mahalo Jasmine!!

We are closely monitoring the actions and spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) given by the Center for Disease Control, as well as the Hawaii and American Dental Associations. It is understandable to be concerned about COVID-19. We care deeply about the health, safety and well being of our patients and staff. We are fortunate that we are well isolated from the majority of the events surrounding the COVID-19 but that does not mean we are taking this lightly. Here at Kona Coast... Dental Care, the staff is well trained in universal precautions and infection control according to the OSHA and HIOSH standards. These are policies that we use at our practice every day with every patient. These are some of the additional measures that are going to be putting in place to combat any potential spread: 1. A pre-procedural mouth rinse with every patient prior to dental treatment. 2. Please limit to bringing in no more than 1 person to help you if necessary. 3. We are putting away all magazines, newspapers, and toys in common areas. 4. If you have traveled to a high impact areas (China, Europe, Washington State, etc) or on a cruise ship within the last 14 days we ask you to please reschedule. Please call the office with any travel related questions. 5. Our staffed will be screening people as they come through the door with a thermometer. 6. Be prepared to answer simple medical questions upon arrival to your appointment. Have you had a fever, dry cough, or flu like symptoms in the last 5 days? 7. Please notify us if at any point in time if you test positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). 8. If you are sick, please reschedule.
