Just some updates on how to get to Hawaii for a vacation get away: 1. Download the AlohaSafe Alert App to your phone 2. Go to: https://hawaiicovid19.com... 3. Prior to your arrival, if you are an adult (age 18 years or older) you will need to create an online user account and register with the State of Hawai‘i Safe Travels Hawai‘i program. 4. You will need a negative Covid-19 test ONLY FROM AN HAWAII TRUSTED PARTNER PROVIDER AND IT MUST BE WITHIN 72 HOURS O F THE LAST LEG OF YOUR FLIGHT TO HAWAII (If you are leaving from New York, and your last leg leaves Los Angeles at 2pm PT on a Friday =5pm in New York - you must have a negative result between 5pm Tuesday and the departure time AND it must be uploaded to your newly created Safe Travels account. 5. Receipt acknowledgement is almost immediate. 6. 24 hours before your departure, Hawaii Safe Travels will send you a QR code that you should 1. Print out and 2. Take a screen shot of on your phone to show upon arrival at Hawaiian airport. ****because of the present short turnaround time of 72 hours, it is BEST if you can get a rapid Covid Test done. Call and check out the websites of Providers who have links on the Hawaiicovid19.com webpage. You must quarantine the length of your Hawaiian stay not leaving your property if you have not had a negative test, uploaded it to the Hawaii site, and are in possession of the QR code. You also will be asked to show proof of the Negative test to car rental. A screen shot of the QR code with your name, arrival/departure info beneath it is important. Mask wearing except when exercising or eating is expected for everyone’s health and safety.
